What we collect and why

Your ListSync account

When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your email address and, if you share it, your name. We use them to identify your account, sync your data between your devices and reply to you.

Your listings

The listings you create (titles, descriptions, prices, categories, photos, which marketplaces they're on, and sales you record) are stored on your device and synced to your ListSync account so they appear on your other devices. Your profile settings (store name, ZIP code, listing text, presets) sync the same way.

Photos and text sent to AI

To write a listing, check prices, sort photos into items or answer a question in the Assistant or Help, ListSync sends the relevant photos and text to Anthropic's Claude AI through our server. Anthropic processes them to produce the reply and does not use them to train its models. A random device identifier is used to apply a daily usage limit.

Marketplace logins

You log into each marketplace inside the app, directly on that marketplace's own website. Your passwords go only to that marketplace. The login is kept on your device so ListSync can post and read buyer messages for you; it is not sent to our servers.

Buyer messages

If you use the Inbox, ListSync reads your buyer conversations on your device. If you turn on Auto-reply, the relevant conversation and listing are sent to the AI to write a reply.

Problem reports and support

When posting to a marketplace fails, the app sends us the marketplace, the error, the page it stopped on (the address without any personal details) and your app version, so we can fix broken marketplace flows quickly. When you contact us through the app or this website, we receive your message, your email and basic app details so we can help.

Location

If you choose to, ListSync can use your location once to fill in your ZIP code for local listings. It isn't tracked or stored beyond the ZIP code you save.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; we only learn whether your subscription is active.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers only to run ListSync:

• Supabase: hosts your account and synced data (United States).
• Anthropic: runs the AI that writes listings and answers questions.
• Resend: delivers support emails.
• Apple: app distribution, Sign in with Apple and subscriptions. Google: Sign in with Google, if you use it.
• The marketplaces you choose: your listings are posted to them, and each marketplace's own privacy policy applies to what you publish there.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account, and we permanently remove your account and everything synced to it: listings, photos, profile and sales. Problem reports and support messages are deleted with it or within 90 days. Listings already published on marketplaces stay there until you remove them on each marketplace.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored with access rules that let only your own account read it.

Children

ListSync is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can see and edit your data in the app, export it by copying listings, and delete it at any time. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as asking what we hold about you. Contact us and we'll help.
